Why did I get pimples after my facial?

I gave myself a facial last Wednesday. First, I washed my face and then I steamed it for 5 minutes. After that, I did a scrub for 1 minute and then I put on a mask for 20 minutes. I topped it off by putting aloe vera gel (real aloe vera gel from a plant) onto my face. A few days after that I developed pimples! Why is that? I thought facials were supposed to clear your skin. Did I do something wrong? Why did I get pimples after my facial?
its funny how skin works...and honestly, this is expected. anytime you wash your face, especially if you havent washed it in a while, its most likely that you'll develop more pimples. the reason behind it is because it's pushing the bacteria out of the skin. that's why they say to use facewash for a full 8 weeks before determining if it works or not. most skin care regimens will make your face worse before it makes it better. hope i helped! =]Why did I get pimples after my facial?
Some dirt might have gone into your pores while they were still open.

The same thing happened to me in fact, I gave myself a facial at home and steamed my face then washed it with a scrub and i got pimples on my forehead ! I guess it's natural.
the facial probably brought out all the bad stuff that was in your skin...they say that it'll get worse before it gets better

wait a few more days to see the results of your facial :)
its because a facial draws out the toxins in your skin and pores, and thats what pimples are, toxins.
I didn't even read your question. Thank you for the laugh. ^_^

break your nose, and slam your head through a plate glass window to cut it up and let the cuts get infected, or just make them scars.

What is the best way to remove facial hair!?

When i say the best i mean the best wayy!!

thank you! What is the best way to remove facial hair!?
If you are a man than I would just shave off but if you are a woman don't remove it just bleach it (that is if your facial hair is not thick) My sister waxes her face but it is painful as she says You can also ';nair'; it kinda like the stuff you use on your legs but this is just for facial hair. The best way for me is to bleach it.What is the best way to remove facial hair!?
Try shaving oil. It creates a sleek surface and helps prevent razor burn. Love it. Also, make sure to soften your beard with a hot towel or in a hot shower before shaving.
Waxing, it lasts the longest. Unless you have the money to get it laser removed.
permanently? get the laser thing so that hair doesn't come back.

i think it is a painless procedure

if you like pain then wax your face
get someone to wax it for you
Most women will acquire some moustache growth at some point in their life, especially after age 30, but many from early teens.

If there's not too much of it, do you really need to do anything? Most guys are OK about women with a slight moustache.

If you do decide you have to do something, then be very careful, because there's a lot of wrong ';information'; around.

Facial (and also body) hair on women comes about in the same way as on men because of

1) your body being sensitized, before you were even born, to testosterone -- doesn't happen to all girls, but does to many

2) your body producing high levels of testosterone

The growth rate and coarseness of the hair depends on just how much testosterone is circulating in your bloodstream.

Steer clear of bleaching -- when someone sees you against the light you'll look as if you have a glowing moustache and/or beard.

As far as removing it is concerned it's worth remembering that

* Waxing, plucking, threading, epilating all pull the hair out by the roots and where the growth is hormonally-driven can actually stimulate a dormant follicle into producing more hair quicker. They also distort the root if done repeatedly, leading to hair growing at strange angles. And you've got to let the hair grow to quite a length before you can repeat the exercise. It can also damage the skin and discolor it. Long-term use of waxing also causes bad wrinkles.

* Chemical depilatories strong enough to remove the hair are very likely to burn the skin, cause swelling and cause long-term discoloration of the skin.

* Laser is also liable to cause burning and discoloration and in any case only works effectively on a dark hair/light skin combinantion.

* Electrolysis is very liable to cause scarring and discoloration of the skin.

Which, like it or not, leaves shaving which does not damage the skin. Best done with a men's-style electric razor, the best of which, for women, are probably those from the men's range of Norelco razors (Philishave outside the US). Most women who try a men's Norelco wonder why nobody ever told them about it before.
Nair!!!it'll work good...they have somethin for facial hair...i used the one for my legs, %26amp; it was awesome!!!i didnt have to shave for a week!!!
well. get it perfessionally waxed. i know how painfull it may sound. but it totally work!!!

good luck!!

Will ozonated gel get rid of a facial mole?

If so, how long will it take? How much should I apply? What will the mole look like after a few days? Will it be painful? Will ozonated gel get rid of a facial mole?
all I know is to NEVER do something like this on your own---look for a doctor to advise you how to proceed. Will ozonated gel get rid of a facial mole?
i dont know if this is dangerous but my grandma did it and it took a mole off her neck so you buy liquid wart remover from anywhere and you apply it and cover your mole and peel it off after like a day and apply and repeat and hers was gone in like a month but it will keep growing back if you dont get every little bit

Is it possible for eggs to cause facial skin problems like a minor heat rash etc?

I may be imagining it but it feels like the more eggs I eat, the more red marks and bumps appear on my face! It's not serious or anything - there's only like 6 or 7 at the worst times. But because I have generally alright skin on my face, I thought I'd try and figure out why this happens from time to time. Only thing I could relate to it was an increase of eggs in my diet!Is it possible for eggs to cause facial skin problems like a minor heat rash etc?
Keep a record of what you eat and when you get the rash. It will help to confirm if it is the increase in eggs in your diet or another food that is causing the problem. Is it possible for eggs to cause facial skin problems like a minor heat rash etc?
    Yes.

allergy to certain foods can cause minor skin rash, maybe this time, you should think of eliminating eggs from you diet.

Which is more important: skin tone or facial features on black women?

Which is more important: skin tone or facial features on black women?Which is more important: skin tone or facial features on black women?
strange question, but i say bothWhich is more important: skin tone or facial features on black women?
    definitely facial features.
facial features. At my school skin tone doesn't matter because if a girl is hot she's hot!
    both off doesnt matter:))
If you have a beautiful face, skin tone doesn't matter. Facial features are more important on any human.
Skin Tone, I prefer light skin girls.
    Facial features.
Not that I am an expert but I think attitude and demeanor show on a woman's face. So friendly eyes and a smile mean the most. I guess that would be features. In my humble opinion.
Neither matter. There are ugly acting people with nice facial features and ugly acting people come in all shades, all complexions.
look, people don't get it for some reason.

    SKIN TONE DOESN'T MATTER!!

Both dark and light skin tones can look unbelievably sexy. So don't worry about it.

Now facial features....thats really important...some Indian and chinese friends I have don't prefer black girls because they're aren't attracted to the features black girls have...I said some, mind you.
    Important in what regard?
    both
I would think that facial features would matter more. I mean, whenever I determine whether someone (of any race) is beatiful is based on their features (not skin tone).
A symmetrical face, with an even skin tone
I agree with first answer both are very important take care
features, there are many nice looking darkskin women
neither! I don't understand why people make such a big deal out of either one of them. Facial Features can look prefectly nice, I've seen non black people with caucasian features and they still ugly or their nose is too pointy and thin just as some black people can have a nose that doesn't fit their face and seems big. There are more of the people who have flat or thin noses and it doesn't matter because it fits their face and makes them pretty still.

Skin tone doesn't ever matter, unless you're an idiot!

Rihanna has a wider nose than ANYONE I know! lol, and she's prettier than most people! :)

Facial features. Black women are all beautiful, no matter what tone (pecan, chocolate, light) or nationality (islands, Thailand, Phillipines, America, England, Guyana, Nigeria %26amp; Africa) that they are.

I think facial features are more important. All black women are priceless. Beauty comes with skin tone rather than how close to white or black you are.

Edit: Thanks Qwerty. I believe black women should be applauded for their beauty just like other women are.
I believe facial features are the most important. Skin color can vary but not everyone has a pretty face.

    Nice list @ King.
