Can anyone recommend any good facial moisturisers?

In the winter my skin gets really, really dry, especially around my nose. I've tried umpteen moisturisers, just wondered if anyone could recommend any I haven't tried. Can anyone recommend any good facial moisturisers?
My skin is both sensitive and dry so I aleays use Nives cream on my face !! It really is good...try it !!!Can anyone recommend any good facial moisturisers?
use clean and clear oil-free dual action mousturizer, it works really well!!!
I use nives Q10 day and night cream and eye cream, i dont have dry skin but it is excellent! Try it
I love Body Shop Vitamin E moisturiser, it's not greasy atall, and leaves your skin really soft and smelling nice!
Eucerin cream
Clinique and Clarins do really good moisturisers.
don't forget to scrub once a week at least to get rid of dead skin. moisturizer works better that way. My skin suffers alot in cold weather especially coming from a humid country. All moisturizers mentioned here didn't really work on my face (it might on yours). So, i tried a 24hr body lotion on my face, it works. Sometimes, the 24hrs body moisturizer/lotion tend to be heavier, if your skin tends to breakout or oily, stay away from it.

Make sure you moisturize immediately after each shower and at night before bed. It will help.

I hope this helps.
Clinique! SUPERDEFENSE! it is really good, and last a long time!
exfoliate with an aha cream-Clinique Turnaround cream-no grains. Grains scratch and make it worse and use a moisturizer with urea. I gave up on the Lancome and Helena Rubenstien lines for a cheap hand cream with urea. My skin feels great.
I knew an old lady in her nineties who had the most beautiful skin I'd ever seen, soft and clear and blemish free. I asked her secret and she said, ';Vaseline... it's all I've ever used.';

My mother had lovely skin as well, she lived to eighty-one and though she used make up often until her last decade, all she ever used was Nivea Cream.

I have inherited good skin, am assumed to be in my late forties (I think they're blind;-) and am 61... my secret is, I've never used makeup more than a couple of dozen times inside my life, on very speical occasions. I never had acne as a teenager, never suffered pimples either. I use Nivea as well, but now I use Nivea Soft, because it applies lightly and doesn't drag as old Nivea does on older skin. I also use Nivea lotion on my entire body and face after showering. I have no terrible stretch marks, despite having birthed six children and miscarried five.

I once tried baby lotion and came out ina serious rash and needed a doctor to put it right.

We each have different reactions to all the many lotions and potions, creams and treatments, so you really can't be guided by another person's skin care.

You will likely find that the more expensive stuff wont live up to all the boasting on the bottle/jar, that something plain and simple is far more effective, as the old lady did with Vaseline.

Remember though, that your skin needs to breathe and that make up and lotions block the pores and prevent this happening, so allow yourself some time after bathing, to cool down, plash cold water on your face after every hot bath/shower, and let your skin cool and breather for half an hour before applying anything at all. Or, better still, let it breathe overnight, and your blemishes and dryness will likely clear up by allowing natural oils to repair the damage done in a dry, windy, or cold environment.

And chemicals we use inside the home and on our clothes as well as perfumes, all play a part in drying up and damaging our skin. Take a break from all the products for a while, try a little Vaseline or, Nivea or such before going out in colder weather, and see if this regime is good for you.

The less you spend, the less you plaster on your skin, the better it will be and the younger it will stay... and smoking, yes... maybe this doesn't help... but who am I to say this, I've always smoked!

Stop worrying and stop contstantly touching to feel how dry your skin is... everything you touch leaves throughout the day has been touched by someone else and has residue, as well as dirt and dust, that is passed straight to your skin and has a bad effect on it... stop worrying as well, because you probaly look absolutely fine to others, but can't believe this yourself. That person next to you in the queue who looks so glamorous is very likely terrified you'll notice the seriously 'huge' rash she has behind her collar... and it's very likely miniscule as well!

Don't think everyone else is beautiful and that they have perfect bodies, since there's no such thing... I have twisted fngers through arthritis and used to hide my hands inside my jeans, out of shame and embarrassment.... not least because my ex left me for a younger female after flinching away from them. For three years I tried to hide them, then one day, chatting to a lovely younger girl, I apologised for them and she told me off quite firmly... me, a should know better, always asked advice of granny... ';I never even noticed them, you are so interesting to talk with, you seem so young and energetic.'; And from that moment on, I forgot about them and forgot the nasty feeling in me, about myself, that my ex had left behind him too;-)

I'll bet you have a very pretty nose and no one even notices it's dry, so get out there and smile and light the world up:-)

(spell check out of order)
duck fat
i'll just knock u up a batch
clinique
Under 35 try Liz Earle (excellent) over 35 try Gatineau (superb) Both available on the QVC web site
any kind of clean and clear, that stuff works!
I use Beauty Fluid by Olay..... i think its the best there is... is cheap and great for all types of skin and does not bring you out in spots. Its great..... def try it.
Have you tried the Guinot products? They are a tad pricey but I find that they do the job and a beautician can analyze your skin to make sure you are using the right ones.
celeteque
Vitamin E Oil
i use clean and clear oil free stuff or a low spf suncreme
Anything by Oil of Olay.
CLARINS Swear by it.. go and see a clarins consultant.
To help your skin; drink plenty of water, do not smoke, and use whatever moisturiser is on special offer at the supermarket.
I love Estee Lauder Daywear moisturiser but to give your skin aboost, I would suggest trying Bio Oil and use it as a treatment before you go to bed. It gives your skin a really good 'drink' and you will be able to tell the difference the following morning. In winter I do this about once a week. I also make sure that I exfoliate once a week to get rid of all that dry skin that tends to stay around the creases of your nose. For this Iuse Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel, which also helps to prevent breakouts. Hope thi helps.
Only one! Nivea face cream. Cheap and really effective
Hello. Have you tried any of the Liz Earle natural range? You can order it at www.lizearle.com

It's all made from natural ingredients and her Skin Repair Moisturiser is great. While you're ordering try her Cleanse %26amp; Polish cleanser too. Fantastic.
I use Clinique the yellow Dramatically different one. Yeah it's expensive at about 拢20 but lasts ages as you don't have to use much. It's really fantastic for dry skin. I share your problem with skin around the nose area as have found this works wonders for me. good luck!
Clean and Clear, Morning Burst Mosturiser, really nice!
