What is the difference when using a ripe banana from a banana that is not yet ripe for a facial mask?

Ripe bananas are easier to mash than under-ripe ones, so it would be easier to mix and apply. Under-ripe bananas have a high fibre content (gets converted to sugars as it ripens) so it may feel different on the skin.





This site has info about the science behind this sort of facial mask, but doesn't mention anything about the ripeness - just the fats:
