Secret I'll let you in on: it doesn't much matter what the cleanser says it's going to do, the only thing it should do is cleanse. If it claims anything else, it's probably not true. That being said, you want to get something that cleanses without irritating, because any kind of irritation is bad for your skin (including those ';tingling'; cleansers that are supposed to indicate that it's working).
So, the best simple cleanser I have found is indeed a drugstore brand. I picked this one because I like my cleansers to foam, which is why I didn't like the really really gentle ones, but this one is gentle and mild even while letting up a nice lather. It's Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Face Wash (or Face Cleanser or whatever... just remember Fresh Foaming). It does have a little bit of fragrance, it's not heavily scented, but fragrance is on the ingredients list (it's the very last ingredient), so you might want to do a patch test first to see if you're sensitive to it. To do a patch test, put a small amount of whatever product you're testing on your inner arm and put a band-aid over it. Leave it in place for 24 hours. Watch the site for another 48 hours, and if nothing happens, you should be good to go.What is the best brand facial wash that i can get for cheap?

I don't know where you live and what they are selling but for me clean%26amp;care was good. But you have to try what fits with your skin.
